Lovely pair of old retro brown glazed stoneware mixing bowls.
Each antique bowl has a lovely pattern of vertical bands around the wide rim at the top and a dented pattern on the bowl itself. The two bowls are of the same size and almost identical. They date from around 1900. They are stackable.
Bowl no. 1: unglazed top edge and band beneath rim are of a light beige colour. Fine crazing inside bottom of bowl. Heavier weight (3.2 lb). 22 $
Bowl no. 2: pattern is more clearly delineated with a beige outline and a mottled unglazed top edge and under rim band. Lighter weight (2.8 lb). 24 $
This is a lovely pair of antique stoneware mixing or serving bowls ready to add to your rustic or farmhouse style kitchen. Their simple pattern, dark brown glaze and primitive design are attractive et very decorative.
